HABBIT:A small to medium deciduous tree. Produces small, glossy, green leaves. Followed by beautiful red/orange flowers turning to large round red fruit.
HEIGHT: Can get up to about 4 to 5 meters. Best kept pruned to under 3 metres.
WIDTH: Will span about 2 metres.
CLIMATE INFO:Grows well in most areas. Being deciduous it is fine with frosts.
GARDEN USES:When pruned to shape it is a very attractive feature tree with its glossy foliage and showy flowers and fruit.
CULINARY USES:The large fruit produces lots of edible seeds that are covered with a delicious red pulp. This fruit is highly prized.
