COMMON NAME: Cut Leaf Mint Bush (Native Thyme)
BOTANICAL NAME: Prostanthera incisa
HABIT: Small, dense shrub with nice compact shape. Get a lovely burst of small purple flowers in Spring.
HEIGHT: Gets up to 1.5 metres in height.
WIDTH: Grows quite square with a width of 1.5 metres.
CLIMATE INFO: Does great in both full sun and partial shade. Native to coastal areas it prefers good drainage and warm conditions. Is frost hardy once established.
GARDEN USES: Prunes really well and can be used as a topiary or small hedge.
CULINARY USES: Highly aromatic, rich in essential oils. It gives off a minty aroma when crushed or rubbed. Used in cooking and herbal teas.
CONTAINER TYPE: 55mm Nursery Tube. (Tube diagonal width is 55mm, Tube height is 85mm).
CURRENT PLANT HEIGHT: Approximately 100mm to 150mm.
