Mulberry White

COMMON NAME: Mulberry (White)

BOTANICAL NAME: Morus alba

DESCRIPTION: A fast growing, medium sized deciduous tree. Has lime green, heart shaped leaves and produces wonderfully sweet white berries.

HEIGHT: Can get up to 10-15 metres.

WIDTH: Spans approximately 5-8 metres.

CLIMATE INFO: While native to China, the plant is very adaptable to most regions. Does best in full sun, well drained soils and enjoys generous winters.

GARDEN USES: A magnificent specimen tree with its lush summer foliage and lovely domed shape.

CULINARY USES: Large white berries are juicy and sweet.
