COMMON NAME: Kunzea (White)
BOTANICAL NAME: Kunzea ambigua
DESCRIPTION: A small to medium shrub with small, narrow green leaves. Produces lovely clusters of small white scented flowers. Looks very similar to native Tea tree.
HEIGHT: Gets up to about 3 metres.
WIDTH: Has a span of approximately 2 metres.
CLIMATE INFO: Grows in a wide variety of conditions. Prefers full sun to moderate shade areas. Avoiding heavy water-logged soils will see it perform at it best.
GARDEN USES: Due to its small leaved dense growth habit, it can be used as a nice informal hedge, or as a specimen plant that looks nice when pruned regularly and amazing when in flower.
CULINARY USES: The leaves have a sweet citrus/eucalyptus flavour and have both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Used in teas, cooking and medicines. Becoming a very important bush tucker plant.
CONTAINER TYPE: 55mm Nursery Tube. (Tube diagonal width is 55mm, Tube height is 85mm).
CURRENT PLANT HEIGHT: Approximately 100mm to 150mm.
