COMMON NAME: Curled ivy
BOTANICAL NAME: Hedera helix
HABIT: An evergreen climbing vine. Moves up surfaces like walls as well as creeping flat and sloped ground areas. This form has medium, green, star shaped leaves that have a ruffled curl effect through them.
HEIGHT: The plant can climb walls up to 20 meters high.
WIDTH: Spans the same distance to about 20 metres.
CLIMATE INFO: Grows in most areas, prefers shade to partial shade areas, however, needs good levels of bright indirect light to grow its best. Grows well in ambient temperatures between 12-25 degrees Celsius.
GARDEN USES: Good plant to hide unsightly walls and great used as a ground cover underneath tree canopies.
