COMMON NAME: Red Cherry Guava.
BOTANICAL NAME: Psidium cattleyanum.
HABBIT: A large bush or small tree. Produces lovely, delicate white flowers followed by delicious small red blushed fruit.
HEIGHT: Grows up to approximately 4 to 5 metres. Best kept pruned to 3 metres.
WIDTH: Can span up to about 2 metres.
CLIMATE INFO: Grows in most climate zones. Fruits best when not exposed to constant frosts through winter.
GARDEN USES: A great edible alternative for a hedge.
CULINARY USES: The fruit this plant produces is absolutely amazingly delicious. Everyone should be growing one.
