COMMON NAME: Indian Guava

BOTANICAL NAME: Psidium guajava

HABBIT: A quick growing small to medium evergreen tree. Nice large green leaves and beautiful smooth bark.

HEIGHT: Can get up to 4 to 5 metres, best kept prunes under 3 metres to make picking fruit easier.

WIDTH: Can span up to 2 metres.

CLIMATE INFO: Does best in warm to hot zones. Needs really good protection in areas that get continual frosts.

GARDEN USES: An amazingly smooth bark and attractive canopy shape make this a great feature tree.

CULINARY USES: The fruit is super juicy and ultra delicious. Full of nutrients and vitamins. Even the leaves are highly revered for their benefits. Fruit has a beautiful white aromatic flesh.
