COMMON NAME: Grey Owl

BOTANICAL NAME: Juniperus virginiana

DESCRIPTION: A low maintenance, slow growing shrub. Its arching feathery branches retain juvenile shaped needles, giving it a soft, silvery-blue appearance all year round.

HEIGHT: Can get up to about 1 metre in height,

WIDTH: Spans to about 2.5 metres with its weeping habit.

CLIMATE INFO: Very tolerable of most conditions. Doesn’t like extremely wet areas and may need protection from extreme direct summer sun. Once established it is extremely tough.

GARDEN USES: Specimen plant. Its colour and shape make it spectacular.
