COMMON NAME: Dusky coral pea
BOTANICAL NAME: Kennedia rubicunda
DESCRIPTION: A vigorous climbing vine that has medium trifoliolate leaves that are glossy green. Produces large red pea-shaped leaves that are quite unique.
HEIGHT: Can grow to a height of about 5 metres.
WIDTH: Spans about the same as its height to 5 metres across.
CLIMATE INFO: Grows up and down the east coast of Australia between North Queensland and Southern Victoria. Grows great in full sun to partial shade. Very versatile plant.
GARDEN USES: Great as a feature vine grown over a trellis as the flowers are quite unique and striking. Will also work as a ground cover if there is no structure for it to climb up.
