COMMON NAME: Curry leaf tree
BOTANICAL NAME: Murraya koenigii
HABBIT: A fast growing, small, evergreen tree. Produces leaves that have an amazing curry flavour.
HEIGHT: Can get up to 4 to 5 metres in the warm zones.
WIDTH: Spans about 1.5 to 2 metres.
CLIMATE INFO: Is native to the warm areas of India. It does its best in these warm zones however can been grown successfully in cooler zones with appropriate protection throughout the cool season.
GARDEN USES: With its tall weeping habit the tree is very ornamental.
CULINARY USES: The curry flavour of the leaves is extraordinary and used in many cooking techniques.
CONTAINER TYPE: 55mm Nursery Tube. (Tube diagonal width is 55mm, Tube height is 85mm).
CURRENT PLANT HEIGHT: Approximately 100mm to 150mm.
