COMMON NAME: Saw Tooth Coriander.
BOTANICAL NAME: Eryngium foetidum.
HABBIT: A small, clumping perennial with a strong coriander flavour. Has wide, strappy leaves with a very distinctive saw pattern on the edges.
HEIGHT: Can get up to 300mm.
WIDTH: Spans about 200mm.
CLIMATE INFO: Grows well in most climate zones. Protect from frost in cool zones. Doesn’t bolt to seed like common coriander.
GARDEN USES: Nice neat little border plant, provides a different look with its saw patterned leaves.
CULINARY USES: A non-bolting form of coriander with a stronger flavour than the common form. The leaves may also be dried and stored for later use.
CONTAINER TYPE: 55mm Nursery Tube. (Tube diagonal width is 55mm, Tube height is 85mm).
CURRENT PLANT HEIGHT: Approximately 100mm to 150mm.
(Seasonal pruning and/or packaging may occasionally reduce height)
PROPAGATION TYPE: Seed grown.
