COMMON NAME: Bay tree
BOTANICAL NAME: Laurus nobilis
DESCRIPTION: While the Bay is grown dominantly as a herb plant it actually can grow up to 15 metres tall. Has a wonderful dense look. Rich medium to large, dark mature leaves, give it a majestic look.
HEIGHT: When not pruned it will reach 15 metres.
WIDTH: Spans up to 10 metres as well.
CLIMATE INFO: Thrives in mild, humid climates with ample moisture. A classic Mediterranean plant.
GARDEN USES: Very useful for clipped hedges and topiary designs.
CULINARY USES: The leaves are a staple in Mediterranean cooking. A favourite herb for many.
CONTAINER TYPE: 55mm Nursery Tube. (Tube diagonal width is 55mm, Tube height is 85mm).
CURRENT PLANT HEIGHT: Approximately 100mm to 150mm.
