COMMON NAME: Ruby Leaf Alternanthera

BOTANICAL NAME: Alternanthera dentata

DESCRIPTION: A low growing perennial plant with attractive burgundy leaves.

HEIGHT: Stays quite compact to about 400mm to 500mm. Can be easily controlled via regular tip pruning.

WIDTH: Each plant will span to about 300mm.

CLIMATE INFO: Does great in warm to hot areas. Can be grown in the cooler zones in protected locations. Does not do well with repeated frosts.

GARDEN USES: Super border plant that adds amazing permanent colour to gardens. Contrasts very well with blue/silver coloured plants.
